Weapons of Math Destruction, 1

And it's the beginning of a comic I've been wanting to do for a while, and it actually has nothing at all to do with Total Drama! It has to do with... well, math. This is part one of several.

Komet is the pink sasquatch-thing, and Tyro is the dragon-like creature. They are not characters I made up, but they both come from the 1985 first grade edition of the Holt Mathematics textbook. In other words, the longer after 1985 that you were in first grade, the less likely you'd have any idea who these characters are. Or for that matter, even if you used the textbook, you've probably forgotten who they were, anyway. Basically, they like math.

And as far as I can tell, there is no fan art anywhere of the characters. For that matter, I cannot find a single online trace that the characters ever existed, but no more! For I introduce to the Internet, a trace of their existence!

I wonder who these "math superheroes" might be that Komet's talking about....
